EC MEETING MINUTES_28 JUNE, 2019

Accounting AlumniAssociation ofJagannath University

(Session: 1994-95)

In Attendance:

 Agenda:  Annual Strategy for new committee (2019-2020)

 A meeting was held at Hotel The Capital Ltd. VIP Road, Naya Paltan, Dhaka-1000on Friday, June 28,2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the presence of member of the present committee. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Moahmmad Saiful Islam, President of the committee of Accounting Alumni Association of Jagannath University, Session-1994-95.

At first president was started with a welcome speech and asked to Mr.S.M.Rezaul karim (Reza), General Secretary of the committee for conducting the meeting. Mr.Reza call for open discussion regarding the annual action plan for the present committee. The entire participants contributed providing their valuable opinions regarding the below issues and all are approved by vote of all attending members of the committee.

 The following discussion and recommendation was taken in the meeting:

1. Member increase and activities:The Committee wants to increase our friends in this umbrella.

Action: All committee members decided to increase our general members and for these activities,

Wehave created Zone-specific and members of the zone’s obligation will be searching our friends &

Include them in   this our umbrella as a new member.

Name of Zone-specific and members are as following:

1. Completion of Registration Formalities: We have realized that registration has to complete urgently.

Action: A sub committee was formed Headed by Mr.Md.OmarFarukMollah(Khokon) along with Mr. Md. JuwelMiah and Mr.MamoonSiraj. Mr. Khokon has to communicate with the related persons at the office of Social Welfare Ministry and He along with his associates will complete the registration formalities of Accounting Alumni Association ofJagannath University,and Session: 1994-95.

1. Get Together with General Members:A Get Together will be arranged with General Members.

Action:A Get Together has to fix after EID-UL-ADHA and time schedule & sport will be published soon.

1. Bank Account Opening & Fund Creation: Bank Account opening &Fund creation is need for various operational activities.

Action:As we are going to complete the registration formalities, so here needs bank accounts. At first we can open

a joint account favor of President & General Secretary along with Finance Secretary and finally we will open Bank

Account favor of Accounting Alumni Association, Jagannath University, and Session: 1994-95 after getting the

Registration number.

Fund will be required for completion of registration formalities of Accounting Alumni Association of Jagannath

University and Session 1994-95. For this reason we have decided that all general members will be provided TK.

500.00 (Five Hundred) only with complete filled up our registration form at the time of upcoming Get-Together.

Here mentionable that 11 (eleven) member are paid their said registration fees to our Finance Secretary.

And another fund may rise for emergency treatment or other purpose ofany members of Accounting Alumni

Association. It may create from Zakat fund or any donations.

1. Souvenir upgrade &Branding:We wish to give in upgrade Souvenir to all members in next PICNIC’2020

Action:For Souvenir upgrade &branding our Accounting Alumni Association, Jagannath University, and Session: 1994-95, we have need to increase our general members andcomplete filling up our registrationform and  registration form will be provided with this meeting minute. All members will print the registration form and bring their filled up registration form along with passport size photograph at the time of upcoming Get-Together. Who cannot provide the complete registration form; their records will be missed in the next upgrade Souvenir.

1. Others issues:There are many other issues like website create, next PICNIC & IFTAR MAHFIL etc.

Action: Above issues will be discussed andwill take decisions in next meeting.

The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks to all the attendance of the meeting at 8:00 p.m.
